Classification of common air filter cartridges

Introduction of air filter cartridge:

A filter cartridge is a cylindrical element used for filtration, generally used to filter gaseous media and liquid media. Cartridges for filtering liquid media are usually installed in the filter of the pipeline. The shape of the filter cartridge is usually conical, so it is also called a conical filter cartridge. Commonly used filter materials are wood pulp fiber filter paper, spunbonded polyester non-woven fabric, among which polyester non-woven fabric can be coated, oil-proof, waterproof, and anti-static. The 304 stainless steel filter cartridge is an extended product of the perforated sieve plate, and the hole shape is circular. Mainly used in various filtration industries, for welding, grinding, food, pharmaceutical processing and other filter materials.

Air filter cartridge classification:

The filter materials of common air filter cartridges include ordinary polyester non-woven fabric, coated polyester non-woven fabric, anti-static polyester non-woven fabric, oil-proof and waterproof polyester non-woven fabric, and wood pulp fiber filter paper.

1. Ordinary polyester non-woven fabric

It is made of polyester fiber material, and the filtration accuracy is generally above 5 microns. It is applicable to the filtration of powder spraying, sandblasting, paint, wood, cement and other industries.

2. Coated polyester non-woven fabric

Imported PTFE-coated polyester filter material is used. The filter cartridge made of this material has a long service life, high filtration accuracy, and easier backflushing and dust removal. It can reach 1-2 years under normal working conditions. Scope of application: Filtration of welding fume, shot blasting, pharmaceutical, cement, tobacco, textile industry and other industries.

3. Anti-static polyester non-woven fabric

Anti-static polyester non-woven fabric is covered with a thin layer of conductive and breathable metal aluminum coating on the surface of the filter material to avoid static flashover. It is suitable for metal dust filtration and dust removal in explosion-proof conditions.

4. Oil-proof and waterproof polyester non-woven fabric

Oil-proof, waterproof and dust-proof treatment is to cover the fiber of the filter material with a layer of fluororesin to make the filter material resistant to oil, water and dirt, so that the dust is not easy to adhere, and it is easier to blow back and clean the dust. It is suitable for dust with high dust concentration, and it can also be used to dry dust with large particle size, and the effect is even better.

5. Wood pulp fiber filter paper

Using wood pulp fiber composite filter paper, the scope of application: filtration of gas turbines, compressors, sandblasting, tobacco, fly ash, floating dust and other industries.
