Baghouse dust collectors are using needle felt bags for filtering and reverse pulse compressed air to clean filters.
After the dust loading gas inters the filter chamber, the dusts are filtered on the surface of bags, and clean air is discharged from the top of the filter bags.
When the differential pressure across the bags reaches a certain value, the compressed air will be blown into the center of bags through nozzles, leading the surrounding air into the bags.
The expansion force inside the bags will blow off the dusts on the bag surfaces.
The bags restore their pressure drop and recover the filtration performance.
Excessive running resistance
The reasons may be:
①The filter bag is hardened;
②The pulse valve does not work or is damaged;
③ Compressed air pressure is too low;
④ When the pulse valve is working, the poppet valve is not closed tightly;
⑤ One or more poppet valves are closed.
The elimination methods are as follows:
① Clean the filter bag and strengthen the ventilation;
②Maintain or replace the pulse valve;
③ Check the air circuit and air compressor;
④ Check the dust removal controller.
Small running resistance
The reasons may be:
① flue gas short circuit;
② filter bag damage;
The elimination methods are as follows:
① Check the pipeline and repair the damaged part;
② Check and replace the filter bag.
Pulse valve does not work
The reasons may be:
①The power supply is cut off or the cleaning controller fails;
② There are sundries in the pulse valve, and the air leaks all the time;
③The pulse valve coil is burnt out;
④ Compressed air pressure is too low.
The troubleshooting methods are:
① restore the power supply or repair the dust removal controller;
② Carefully clean the pulse valve;
③ Replace the pulse valve coil;
④ Check the gas system and compressor.
