Ⅰ. The main reason for the air filter cartridge to be easily damaged

1. Damage during artificial disassembly.

2. The cover of the inferior filter cartridge and the glue in the filter material are separated.

3. The back blowing design of the air filter cartridge is wrong, and the design of the back blowing frequency is too high or too low is wrong.

4. The influence caused by the low-quality filter material. Some low-quality filter material products are of poor quality, and the slight wear and tear in a short period of time will cause the air filter cartridge to be damaged due to severe wear.

5. The selection of filter material is wrong, and the air filter cartridge is in direct contact with the dust, so the air filter cartridge needs to select the appropriate filter element material according to the characteristics of the dust, high temperature resistance, humidity resistance, fire prevention, etc.

6. Dust wear, because the air filter cartridge is in direct contact with dust, some hard dust particles will cause specific wear to it, and the function of the air filter cartridge will be damaged over time.

7. Dust corrosion, there will always be some corrosive dust during the filtering process of the filter. Due to the long-term chemical reaction, it is easy to cause the air filter cartridge to be corroded and damaged.

Ⅱ. The method of extending the service life of the air filter cartridge

1. Prevent the clogging of the filter cartridge. When the air filter cartridge is clogged, the resistance increases, which can be reflected by the increase in the reading of the differential pressure gauge. The clogging of the filter cartridge is the main reason for the wear, perforation and shedding of the filter cartridge. The reasons for the blockage of the filter cartridge are: partial or complete replacement of the filter cartridge; adjustment of installation and operating conditions. Temporarily enhance cleaning to resolve clogged filter cartridges.

2. Regular maintenance. No matter what it is, we know that careful maintenance can last a long time, and the air filter cartridge is no exception. To improve the service life, it must be cleaned regularly. Because there is usually a lot of dust, the long-term accumulation of these dust will cause the filter cartridge to clog. However, cleaning is not to rinse directly with water, but to clean according to the requirements of the instructions. Random washing will only shorten its service life.

3. To slow down the aging of the filter cartridge, investigate the cause and replace the filter cartridge. The aging of the air filter cartridge is mainly caused by the following reasons: hardening and shrinkage due to abnormal high temperature; contact reaction with the vapor of acid, alkali or organic solvent; new and old filter cartridges should not be mixed to avoid different damage time and affect the normal operation of the equipment. The replaced filter cartridge should be blown clean with compressed air first, and then check whether there are any holes. If any holes are repaired, leave them for replacement. If the filter cartridge is covered with dust, rinse it with water, dry it and leave it for replacement.
