Selection of Dust Collectors for Paper Mills
Paper mill dust is mainly pulp dust, paper dust, and auxiliary material dust, with the characteristics of fine particle size (≤5μm), light weight, easy floating, and high humidity.
The selection should focus on the following six points:
1. High dust removal efficiency:
Select pulse bag filters with dust removal efficiency ≥99.9% to capture fine paper dust and pulp dust, ensuring emissions meet environmental standards.
2. Water-resistant filter materials:
Choose polyester or polypropylene filter bags with good water resistance to avoid bag blockage caused by high humidity in the paper mill.
3. Matching processing capacity:
According to the dust generation of paper machines, cutting machines, and pulp mixing equipment, select a dust collector with appropriate air handling capacity (reserve 10-15% margin).
4. Corrosion resistance:
Paper mills have high humidity and may contain a small amount of acid-base substances (e.g., pulp additives). The equipment box and components should be treated with anti-corrosion measures (e.g., spray anti-corrosion paint).
5. Simple maintenance:
Select equipment with a simple structure, easy filter bag replacement, and convenient ash cleaning to adapt to the continuous production of paper mills.
6. Low noise:
Paper mill workshops require a quiet environment. Select a fan with low noise (≤75dB) and install a noise reduction device if necessary to avoid affecting operators.
