Shutdown Operation and Post-Shutdown Maintenance of Boiler Baghouse Dust Collectors

Boiler baghouse dust collectors have strict requirements for shutdown and post-shutdown maintenance, which is crucial to protecting filter bags and equipment, and ensuring stable start-up next time. 

The specific operations are as follows:

1. Shutdown Operation

1) Cut off the flue gas source first: Close the boiler flue gas inlet valve to stop dusty gas from entering the dust collector, avoiding residual high-temperature/corrosive gas damaging the filter bags.

2).  Continue operation of auxiliary equipment: Keep the fan and pulse cleaning system running for 10-15 minutes to clean the dust accumulated on the filter bag surface and inside the box.
3) Stop auxiliary equipment in sequence: First stop the pulse cleaning system and ash discharge device, then stop the air compressor, and finally stop the fan after it runs stably for 5 minutes (to avoid fan damage caused by sudden shutdown).
4) Cut off the power supply: After all equipment stops running, cut off the total power supply of the dust collector and its auxiliary equipment.

2. Post-Shutdown Maintenance

1) Clean the equipment: Remove the accumulated dust in the ash hopper, ash discharge pipe, and air pipeline; wipe the control panel and equipment surface to avoid dust intrusion into electrical components.
2)  Inspect key components: Check the filter bags for damage, deformation, and moisture; replace damaged bags in a timely manner; dry damp bags to prevent mold. Check the pulse valve, solenoid valve, and air bag for air leakage and           blockage; clean or replace faulty components.
3) Anti-corrosion and moisture-proof treatment: For long-term shutdown (more than 1 week), apply anti-corrosion oil to the fan bearing and metal components; close all access doors and valves to prevent moisture and dust intrusion.
4)Record and sort out: Document the shutdown time, operation status before shutdown, and maintenance content; sort out maintenance tools and spare parts for easy use next time.
