Precautions for Ash Cleaning of Mine Dust Collectors
Mine dust (high concentration, abrasive, fine, easy to harden) requires careful ash cleaning to avoid blockage and damage, following five precautions.
Select appropriate cleaning methods:
pulse jet (for fine/adhesive dust), reverse air (for large/low-adhesion dust), mechanical vibration (for small/preliminary cleaning). Do not change methods arbitrarily.
Control frequency and pressure:
30-60 seconds per time, 0.3-0.6MPa. Increase frequency if pressure exceeds 1500Pa, and avoid excessive frequency or pressure.
Clean regularly:
clean the ash hopper daily (after powering off), and conduct shift checks on ash discharge devices. Break hardened ash carefully and keep discharge pipes unobstructed.
Monitor equipment during cleaning:
observe pressure difference, valve operation, and ash discharge. Stop immediately if abnormalities occur, and repair before resuming operation.
Post-cleaning inspection:
check bags, the ash hopper, and seals; record details. Operators should wear protective equipment (masks, gloves, protective clothing).
