How to Improve the Dust Removal Efficiency of a Baghouse Dust Collector?
Five measures can improve baghouse efficiency, ensuring stable and high-performance operation.
Select high-efficiency filter materials :
(PTFE, nanofiber, composite bags) with small pore sizes and high density to capture fine dust (PTFE efficiency ≥99.99%).
Control the filtration wind speed:
0.6-1.0m/min for fine dust, 1.0-1.5m/min for coarse dust. Avoid excessive speed (which causes dust penetration) or insufficient speed (which reduces capacity).
Optimize the cleaning system:
adjust frequency and pressure according to dust concentration, ensure pulse and solenoid valves work normally for uniform cleaning (avoid incomplete or excessive cleaning).
Strengthen sealing:
replace or tighten aging/loose seals (rubber gaskets, asbestos ropes) at access doors, flower plates, and inlets/outlets to prevent unfiltered gas from bypassing.
Install pre-treatment devices (cyclone, sedimentation, desulfurization) to remove large particles and corrosive substances, reducing the bag load and extending its service life.
