How to Maintain a Pulse Baghouse Dust Collectors?
Scientific maintenance extends the service life of a pulse bag filter, ensures its efficiency, and reduces failures, covering six core aspects.
Filter bag maintenance: inspect weekly for damage/blockage, and clean or replace them in a timely manner. Clean non-severely blocked bags with compressed air/water (only for water-resistant bags), replace deformed/corroded cages, and store spare bags in a dry, clean area.
Cleaning system maintenance: daily check pulse/solenoid valves for air leakage or failure, drain air bags daily, inspect air pipelines, and calibrate pressure gauges monthly.
Ash hopper/ash discharge maintenance: clean the ash hopper daily (after powering off first), check the ash discharge device for leakage or jamming, and repair insulation layers to prevent dew formation.
Fan maintenance: daily check for vibration, noise, and temperature, clean impellers or replace bearings if necessary, lubricate weekly, adjust or tighten belts, and keep air inlets/outlets unobstructed.
Equipment body/seal maintenance: inspect for corrosion or deformation, perform anti-corrosion treatment, and replace or tighten aging/loose seals to avoid air leakage.
Maintenance records: document maintenance details to master equipment operation rules, predict faults, and organize tools and spare parts neatly
