What are the types of precision compressed air filters?
Precision Filter Function Introduction by Grade:
Q Grade: First stage of filtration. Removes 3µm of large water particles from the main pipeline.
P Grade: Second stage of filtration. Removes 1µm of water.
S Grade: Removes 0.01µm of oil. Ideally, it should be paired with a P Grade filter for protection.
C Grade: Contains activated carbon material.
Grade Introduction:
Q Grade - Main Pipeline Filter: Primarily used after the aftercooler of an air compressor or before refrigerated dryers and other filters to protect the entire system.
It can filter out large amounts of liquid and solid particles larger than 3 microns, achieving a minimum residual oil content of only 5 PPW/W.
P Grade - Air Pipeline Filter: Primarily installed before tools, machinery, motors, cylinders, and other equipment, as well as before A-grade ultra-high efficiency oil filters, or after adsorption dryers to remove moisture and particles.
It can filter out liquid and solid particles as small as 1 micron, achieving a minimum residual oil content of only 0.5 PPW/W.
S-Class - Ultra-High Efficiency Oil Removal Filter: Primarily used upstream of adsorption dryers or downstream of refrigerated dryers to ensure the air used in the system is completely oil-free.
It can filter out liquid and solid particles as small as 0.01 microns, achieving a minimum residual oil content of only 0.001 PPMW/W. It is crucial to install a P-Class air duct filter upstream for protection.
