Overview
Polyester filter cartridges are high-performance industrial filtration solutions engineered for heavy-duty dust collection and air purification. Utilizing premium spun-bonded polyester media, these cartridges offer a combination of high mechanical strength, excellent chemical resistance, and superior filtration efficiency. Their pleated design provides an expansive surface area, ensuring high airflow and low operational resistance in demanding environments.
Key Technical Features
Spun-bonded Polyester Media: Unlike traditional paper media, spun-bonded polyester is exceptionally durable and resistant to abrasion, making it ideal for capturing coarse and abrasive dust.
Surface Filtration: The dense structure of the polyester fabric allows for surface-loading of dust, which facilitates easier cleaning and prevents particles from becoming deeply embedded in the media.
Washable and Reusable: One of the greatest advantages of polyester is its ability to be cleaned (via water or compressed air) and reused, significantly lowering replacement costs.
Structural Reinforcement: Built with corrosion-resistant galvanized or stainless steel inner cores and outer mesh (optional) to prevent collapsing under high pressure.
Chemical & Thermal Stability: Offers excellent resistance to most acids, alkalis, and solvents, with a standard operating temperature range up to 93°C (200°F).
Optional Specialized Coatings
To enhance performance in specific conditions, our polyester cartridges can be treated with:
PTFE Membrane: For ultra-fine dust (PM2.5) and superior "non-stick" dust release.
Antistatic (Aluminized) Coating: To prevent static discharge when handling explosive or combustible powders.
Oil & Water Repellent (Hydrophobic): Essential for applications with high humidity or oily mist to prevent media blinding.
Core Benefits
High Efficiency: Capable of achieving 99.9% filtration efficiency for particles 5 microns and larger.
Long Service Life: The rugged nature of the fabric ensures a lifespan significantly longer than paper or cellulose alternatives.
Energy Savings: Low initial pressure drop reduces the load on fans and motors, lowering energy consumption.
Typical Applications
Industrial Dust Collection: Woodworking, metalworking, sandblasting, and cement processing.
Powder Coating: Efficient recovery of overspray powder in automated coating booths.
Gas Turbines: Protecting heavy machinery in environments with high dust concentrations.
Pharmaceutical & Food: Handling bulk solids and powders where cleanable media is required.
