1. Working Principle of Air Box Pulse Jet Baghouse Dust Collector
The air box pulse jet baghouse dust collector features an air box structure with multiple filter bags installed inside. Dust-laden gas enters the dust collector through the air inlet and is filtered by the filter bags, with dust particles retained on the bag surfaces. The purified gas passes through the filter bags into the clean air chamber and is discharged via the air outlet. Adopting the pulse jet dust cleaning method, the equipment injects high-pressure gas into the filter bags in pulses to remove dust from their surfaces.
The air box pulse jet baghouse dust collector mainly consists of a shell, filter bag chambers, a pulse jet system, an ash discharge system and other components. Its working process is as follows:
1)Dust-laden gas enters the equipment through the air inlet and is evenly distributed to each filter bag chamber by the guide plate first.
2)As the dust-laden gas passes through the filter bags, dust particles are captured by the bag fibers through inertia, diffusion and interception, and the purified gas escapes through the filter bags.
3)With the accumulation of dust on the filter bag surfaces, the resistance of the bags increases gradually. At this point, the pulse jet system is activated, and compressed air is injected into the filter bags in short pulses through electromagnetic pulse valves, causing the bags to expand and contract instantaneously. This forcefully shakes off the dust attached to the bag surfaces, which then falls into the ash hopper.
4)The dust in the ash hopper is discharged regularly through a star-shaped ash discharge valve or other ash discharge devices, completing the entire dust removal process.
