How to clean the air filter:

Before understanding the cleaning method of air filters, let's first understand the classification of air filters, because some filters cannot be cleaned, such as high-efficiency filters, paper frame filters, activated carbon filters, which cannot be cleaned and are disposable use.

Air filter classification:

(1) Coarse effect filter

The filter material of the coarse filter is generally non-woven fabric, wire mesh, glass fiber, nylon mesh, etc. Commonly used coarse-effect filters include: ZJK-1 automatic winding herringbone air filter, TJ-3 automatic winding flat air filter, CW type air filter, etc. Its structural forms include plate type, folding type, belt type and winding type.

(2) Medium-efficiency filter

Commonly used medium-efficiency filters include: M-I, II, and IV foam plastic filters, YB-type glass fiber filters, etc. The filter materials of medium-efficiency filters mainly include glass fiber, medium-pore polyethylene foam and synthetic fiber felt made of polyester, polypropylene, and acrylic fibers.

(3) HEPA filter

Commonly used high-efficiency filters are GB type and GWB type. The filter material is ultra-fine glass fiber filter paper with very small pores. The use of a very low filtration rate enhances the screening and diffusion of small dust particles, so it has a high filtration efficiency.

How to clean the air filter:

1. When the surface of the filter is not very dirty, take the filter outside and blow it with clean compressed air on both sides until the dust particles are not visible under the light with your eyes.

2. When the surface of the filter is dirty, it needs to be washed with water. Put about 100 catties of drinking water into the water making room (air-conditioning room) in the general area, dilute 1 catties of bottled detergent, put the filter into the tank and submerge it in the water. Rinse several times until there is no stain, and finally rinse with clean water until the water clears, take it out and put it on the stainless steel grille, drag it with empty water, and then lay it flat on the shelf to dry in the shade. When it is cool, turn it on both sides frequently to speed up the drying speed .

3. Use a rag to clean the external surface of the air-conditioning box, the subordinate pipelines, and the external surface comprehensively every day to make the equipment clean and bright.

4. The oil and glue on the equipment should be wiped off with a rag and detergent, and then cleaned with drinking water without leaving any traces.

5. After each replacement of the primary and secondary filters, the internal wall panels, fans, heaters, coolers, and diffusers of the air conditioning unit should be thoroughly cleaned, and dust, dirt, and oil stains should be wiped off without leaving Dead angle, and then install the primary and intermediate effect filters.

6. The inside of the system should be cleaned once every half month. First, use a wet rag to scrub the inside, and then use a dry rag to clean thoroughly.

7. When replacing the high-efficiency filter, the four frames and the surrounding area where the filter is installed should be wiped clean with a wet clean cloth, and repeated three times, and the high-efficiency filter should be installed immediately after scrubbing. The high-efficiency filter should be unpacked on site, and after checking that it is qualified, install it immediately to prevent dust from falling into the high-efficiency filter.

8. When the number of suspended particles in the clean room is significantly exceeded, and the final air volume of the high-efficiency filter drops below 70% of the initial air volume.

9. After the high-efficiency filter is replaced, the dust particle counter checks the connection between the high-efficiency filter and the device. During the scanning inspection, tighten the bolts or plug the leak with epoxy resin.

10. The detection and replacement of high-efficiency filters should be recorded in time.

11. After the high-efficiency filter is replaced, a leak detection test should be carried out and verified.

Precautions:

1. After the filter cloth is cleaned, if the initial resistance value of the filter is lower than the initial resistance value when the filter is installed and used for the first time, it should not be used and should be replaced in time; after the filter is cleaned twice, even if the pressure difference value is greater than the initial value to replace.

2. When taking out the high-efficiency filter, the suitcase should be turned upside down so that the high-efficiency filter falls to the ground smoothly.

3. After the filter is cleaned, check whether it is damaged or not. If it is damaged, it should be replaced in time. Do not rub it, machine wash or spin dry it.

4. During the cleaning process, the primary and secondary filters should be numbered to avoid confusion.

5. Each air purification system should have a spare set of filters for timely replacement during cleaning.
