Cartridge classification

The filter materials of common filter cartridges include wood pulp fiber filter paper and polyester fiber non-woven fabric, among which polyester fiber non-woven fabric can be coated, oil-proof, waterproof, and anti-static.

Ordinary polyester non-woven fabric: made of polyester fiber material, the filtration accuracy is generally above 5 μm, and the scope of application: powder spraying, sandblasting, pigment, wood, cement and other industries.

Coated polyester non-woven fabric: Imported PTFE coated polyester filter material is used. The filter cartridge made of this material has a long service life, high filtration precision, and easier backflushing and dust removal. It can reach 1-2 years under normal working conditions. Scope of application: filtration in welding dust removal, shot blasting manufacturing, pharmaceutical, cement, tobacco, textile industry and other industries.

Anti-static polyester non-woven fabric: anti-static, that is, anti-static film treatment, is to cover a layer of extremely thin conductive and breathable metal aluminum coating on the surface of the filter material to avoid static flashover, suitable for metal dust filtration, dust removal in explosion-proof conditions .

Oil-proof and waterproof polyester non-woven fabric: oil-proof, waterproof and dust-proof treatment is to cover a layer of fluororesin on the filter material fiber, so that the filter material has the function of oil resistance and anti-fouling, the dust is not easy to adhere, and it is easier to clean the dust by back blowing. Easy to use, suitable for humid or oily, dusty environments.

Filter cartridge specification + installation method

Common specifications of filter cartridges are diameter 12.75'', 13.84'', height 26'', converted into metric system is 325*660mm, 350*660mm.

The installation methods of the filter cartridge are divided into vertical hoisting, oblique installation at a specific angle, flange installation, etc.

Filter cartridge cleaning method

Commonly used automatic cleaning methods for filter cartridges include high-pressure gas pulse blowback and mechanical vibration. Pulse blowback is to use the preset parameters of the controller to give a signal to the solenoid valve, open and close the diaphragm of the solenoid valve instantly, so that the high-pressure gas enters the blowing pipe, and uses the rapid expansion force of the gas to shake off the dust on the surface of the filter cartridge. We set it at about 6 kg.

Mechanical vibration cleaning is often used in small single-unit filter cartridge dust collectors. It uses the shaking force generated by the eccentric device on the dust collector flower plate to clean dust. This action needs to be operated after stopping.
