(3) Can produce toxic gas.
One is carbon monoxide, and the other is the toxic gas that explosives (such as plastics) decompose themselves. The generation of poisonous gas often causes a large number of human and animal poisoning casualties after the explosion, so full attention must be paid.
Precautions against dust explosions
1.Eliminate dust sources
Available dust removal measures include closed equipment, ventilation and dust removal, ventilation and dust removal, or humidification and dust reduction. The fan of the dust removal equipment should be installed on the clean air side. Electric dust removal equipment cannot be used for combustible dust, and wet dust removal equipment cannot be used for metal dust. .
When the equipment is started, the dust removal equipment should be turned on first, and then the main engine should be turned on. The opposite is true when the equipment is stopped to prevent the dust from flying.
Pipelines should not pass through the dust workshop as far as possible, and should be laid inside the wall to prevent dust accumulation. In addition, if conditions permit, spray water in the dust workshop, and adding water to the crushed material can also promote dust settlement and prevent the formation of dust clouds.
In addition, timely cleaning in the workshop and manual cleaning are also a good way to eliminate dust sources.

2.Strictly control the ignition source
The equipment, container and conveying system for processing powder should have good airtight performance, and prevent dust from leaking from the equipment as much as possible.
Secondly, use high-efficiency dust removal equipment and dust isolation technology to reduce dust and reduce the concentration of combustible dust, isolate equipment that is prone to dust generation in a closed room, and set up a special protective cover and local exhaust hood to protect the dust collection device.
Clean up the dust in the dust removal system in time, keep the exhaust fan, work room, and equipment clean, and pay special attention to the dust removal system to reform the dust removal design in combination with wet operation to prevent dust accumulation in the dust removal pipe.

3.Eliminate confined or restricted spaces
Dust operations will not only cause explosion accidents, but may also cause occupational diseases such as pneumoconiosis. Therefore, the dust removal system should be operated in a confined space as much as possible.

4.Take reliable and effective protective measures
For smaller crushing devices, its strength can be increased, and the prevention of explosion can be considered. The flame spreads outward through the connection. Open doors and windows etc.
The pressure relief device should be close to the place prone to explosion, and not facing the places where people are concentrated and the main traffic arteries; in order to reduce the content of combustion-supporting gas, add inert gas (such as nitrogen) to the mixture of dust and combustion-supporting gas to reduce the oxygen content, It is also one of the feasible methods.
